Q. Why should I chose 0845free for my numbers?
A. Most UK service providers charge you by the minute for all incoming calls received on 0845 numbers, as well as a quarterly charge. We do not charge you to receive calls, we actually pay you a revenue share. Also due to the efficiency of our business we don't charge any setup fees or connection charges.

Q. Can I choose my numbers?
A. Yes! please visit our order page where you can preview the available numbers, We have many numbers which are in the standard free to connect range. There are special numbers that can be ordered and again you can see all of these prior to placing your order.

Q. Can I target my NGN at an International Number?
A.
yes but not without additional costs, which is incurred by the inter connect charges from our International Carriers and can sometimes makes it prohibitive. Contact us first for advise and costings. POA.

Q. I've found you on a search engine - Why should I use you and not one of the other advertisers?
A. Many companies who are advertising Non-Geographic Numbers on the internet are charging you for this service. We don't, there are no monthly or annual fees.

We offer a 0.15p per peak minute revenue for incoming calls made to an 0845 number. Many resellers for other companies cannot offer this outpayment. Some actually charge you for the incoming minutes.

Have you looked at another company other than 0845free who don't offer an outpayment? Whatever level of calls you have inbound you will get payments based on them calls. Some operators charge between £30 and £70 per number to connect  these services and still only pay the same level of call revenue as 0845free. At £70 you would need a total of nearly 47 hours of inbound calls to make back the connection fee.

Our service costs you nothing to get setup and running, no credit card details are needed, no bank details are needed, in fact all we need is the name and address to send the revenue payments to.


Our Non-Geographic Numbers are provided by Your Communications, Opal and Cable and Wireless (formally Energis ), who only utilise the very latest technology which is equivalent to BTs. We would not allow any client of ours to have to accept low quality calls carried by a low quality network. These carriers do not use call compression, so the quality of your call should be as good as with BT.

A. Nothing... We chose the name 0845free because the services we offer are free...

Q. How does it all work?
A. Firstly, you decide how many numbers you want.

Next, during the order process, you will be asked to let us know the existing UK fixed landline telephone numbers (starting 01 or 02) to which you want us to direct your new 08 numbers to. Then the order is submitted and placed with the carrier and will automatically work within 5-7 working days.

We regret that it is not possible to connect an 08 number to another non-geographic number (e.g. A Mobile).

We need full contact details or we will be unable to fulfill the order.

Q. What if I move offices or home?
A. If you move, we simply re-direct your non-geographic number(s) to your new number, anywhere in the UK for free...

Q. Which Telephone Company carries the calls?
A. Tier 1 Carries only. Your Communications, Opal and Cable and Wireless (formally Energis )

Q. Do I need new telephone equipment installing?
A. No, not for non-geographic numbers, you equipment and lines and existing numbers will all work as they currently do.

Q. Does this affect my current telephone number?
A. No, your calls are received as normal, the only difference being, the caller now dials your non-geographic number which is routed to your existing telephone line. A non-geographic number will not stop you from receiving calls on your standard telephone number but do not forget, you are paid to receive calls on your non-geographic number not your normal number.

Q. How will I receive my income on my incoming calls?
A. Income is paid on a monthly basis. Where the income due is less than £25 inc VAT, the amount will be rolled over and credited to the following month. When your credits  have gone over this amount the balance will be reset to zero and we start again. You will  see this on your statement, along with an itemisation of all inbound calls, monthly via email free of charge.

Payment is made upon receipt of an appropriate invoice where credits exceed £25 (inc of VAT). As part of our aim to provide a free service we ask our clients to take responsibility for claiming their credit as above. Payments must be requested within 3 months or they will be forfeit.

Q. When can I start to publicise the number once I have placed my order?
A. Upon receiving your order and when it has been processed it will take between 5 and 7 working days to connect. After 5 working days you should call the non-geographic number you have chosen from a different line and you will either get a dead tone which means you need to check again after 7 days or you will get a ringing/engaged tone - which means the number is live and you can publish the number. Should you get an engaged tone but there is clearly no one on the line that it is directed at then please contact us here and we will resolve the problem for you.

 

Q. What happens if 0845free cease to trade?
A. 0845free has no intention of ceasing to trade in the near future! However our suppliers, Your Communications, Opal and Cable and Wireless (formally Energis ) have agreements with ourselves to continue service our customers at the rates we have agreed.

Q. How long do NGN numbers take to connect?
A. Your numbers should be active and ready for use approximately 5-7 working days.
